Hi i was just having a play with my new stamps they are sooooo cute love the birdhouse and the little birdies ..so i decided to make a card

Hope everyone is enjoying the school holidays . Hubby took the kids to see Toy Story 3 and they loved it of course well my 3 yr old is a huge fan of Woody and Buzz and he managed to sit still through the whole movie yeah ! Then afterwards they all went to have a play at the local park so a great day all round !

Hi all well i haven't posted anything on my sad little blog for what seems like forever i also haven't scrapbooked anything either been very busy lately although i don't know what doing being a Mum i suppose well the 3 teens keep me pretty busy and then there is the 2 younger one's Sarah started school this year so things are just getting into a routine and all's going well so thought i had better get back to what i love doing most yeah scrapbooking so here's what i have been doing over the last few weeks have done a few challenges to help with inspiration which i need big time seem to have lost it somehow but anywho here they are the one of Sarah below is from a pagemaps sketch for Paper Secrets

Well it has certainly been quite some time since i have blogged yeah slack i know but sometimes

life gets hectic but anyway i have made some fresh new changes to my blog and shock horror i have even had time to scrap a few Layouts . This one below is for the BW2 challenge blog

Morning it's terrific Tuesday today its still very wet and oh so windy no point brushing your hair today when i dropped the kids at school by the time i got back my hair looked like i had put my finger in the power point it was pretty spunky lucky for you my camera batteries are flat so i cant show you it nah lucky for me how embarrassing ..Having said that the cyclone has behaved it's self thank god and looks like were safe yippee just have wind and flood alerts so lets hope it continues out to sea ...

Well its Monday morning again gee that came around fast we are having a bit of rain today and its really windy too I'm just hoping that Cyclone Hamish behaves it's self it has been downgraded to a 4 now we are just 20 minutes inland from the coast of Hervey Bay so we have another day or two before we get the full affect of this lets hope he just decides to keep moving out to sea

Well what a fantastic turnout at the Cyber Crop Cafe last night there are 9 fab challenges to choose from heres my Muffins Challenge

you have to use the following items on your Layout, OTP, Card or Digi.

February Number Challenge - by Nat Williams
For this month's number challenge I would like you to create a Layout or OTP using the following numbered criteria
1 oversized photo (must be larger than a 6x4)2 circles 3 patterned papers must be used, no more no less 4 staples 5 different flowers (no two must be the same) 6 inch title (title must measure 6 inches in length - no restriction on height) 7 crosses (they can be stitched, doodles or clearly shown in the paper) 8 buttons
You may add other elements to your layout so long as these 8 listed items are the focus of your LO.

Its so quite around here i love it... The kids are back at school and Sarah Jane is having her first morning at kinda , yeah so its Jason and I , Michael is studying at Tafe this year but you never know when he's home he is my quite one ...Its the teenage girls that are the noisy one's ...So my housework is all done just waiting till bub has hes nap then i can scrap in peace for a few hours .....all going to plan of course but we all know half the time plans get thrown out the window... .So I'm going to get my butt off this computer and help Jason with his little people train set he loves so much ...... Im a dummy

Evening ladies i have been trying to change my header but it looked pretty crappy couldn't work out what size and i haven't got photo shop or anything like that otherwise i would make one but since i was mucking around in it forgot the picture i did use isn't on the comp opppsss i know I'm a dummy with that sort of stuff yes i deleted it so looks like I'm stuck with out one for a while till i work it all out ...So now I'm off to kick my own stupid butt... Ouch

Back up and running..Yeah!!!!

Well it has been a very long week for me . I've had to use the old computer to surf the net oh so painfull .But it's all been sorted out in the end it was only something simple something like the fibers in the cable were broken mmmm $100 bucks later ( Darn there goes my scrapping budget ) but at least it's fixed and i can surf the net properly..

We have had a very busy household lately im sure it's turning into a teenage retreat always half a dozen extra kids lounging around the place as if i don't have enough of my own .Nah there all good kids at least i know where they are .. Last night they where partying down stairs i think they pulled an all nighter on the xbox so they were pretty sedate and quite today ..

I promised them i 'd put up a picture of some of them only got a few and the batteries died so they aren't the best . So here you are guys.......... MIchael ,Ethan ,wads and Jac..

I have also managed to finish one of Tracey's Random challenges #23 at TBSS To scrap a LO that's not a 12x12 i enjoyed doing this one and looks cute on my stand in the corner of my desk ..

Now lovely people I'm off to have a coffee and put my feet up may even have a nanna nap .

Wonderful Wednesday morning

What a lovely morning today theres such a lovely cool breeze flowing in i guess that's one advantage of living in a queenslander ,I'm hoping its not going to warm up too much today. Ive had a quite few days at home with hubby back at work I've been able to organise myself again.

Yesterday 5 of the girls from TBSS Shell ,Ma ,Tracey Rachel and Lexie got together in Bendigo to meet each other wow i so wish i could have been there too .I asked Rachel who's my sister a million Questons about the day she so had a fabulous day and a much needed day out .....on ya girls

I'm so excited i have been accepted to be part of the Design Team at http://forum.scrapbookingwithvanessa.com.au/

thanks ladies look forward to getting to know you all .Such a wonderful start to my New Year .

I have also been asked by the lovely Eve to be an official DT member over at craft bits and bears which has closed it doors for renovations so speak and will be reopening with new name and exciting new store and forum so i shall keep you all posted on the grand opening .

So ill be scrapping my little butt off so too speak well not so little.. LOL

Hubby goes back to work tomorrow after a 2 week break poor darl ,Its always nice to have them home so that means early starts for me usually up around 6am to make lunch's lucky me .

So far the holidays have been very quite the teenagers seem to be out and about every day with friends so the older two girls aren't yelling at each other all day which is lovely for a change .

Here comes the rain

Woo Whoo its actually raining i cant believe it .We normally have heaps more summer rain by now we so need it I've been so hot we've even had two nights at 30 degrees inside the house so its been way to warm to scrap . So since its cooled down today i have got stuck into it . I wanted to use this photo for ages its from our visit to Snakes Down Under in Childers Qld we had such a wonderful day so this is DD Nicole holding a Python Yep she wanted one after that.. For this Lo i have used Cosmo Cricket Fleuriste Primrose PP, Basic Grey chipboard alphas . Kaiser stamps and stazon ink Carolee s Adorn it stickers ,Prima flowers .Unknown PP

Anyway I'm off to catch up on some housework before the heat hits again .

Evening ladies , Well it was soooooo hot and muggy here today but luckily it's just started to cool down hoping to get some much needed rain but i wont hold my breath for that . I hit the shops today to escape the heat went looking for bargains but as usual all i came home with was another scrapbooking paper pack !!!!!!

Go figure i need paper like a hole in the head . It takes so long for me to look through it and choose which paper to use ,then if i change my mind as i always do i gotta go looksie again i tell ya i drive myself crazy some days . but i have managed to do the weekly BW2 challenge from

The sun is shinning birds are chirping and Santa's on his way what more could you want. My little ones are buzzing with excitement of it all Sarah 3 and Jason 20 months are so going to have a ball this year we even got a picture on Santa's knee , now that's a turn around as last year we didn't get anywhere near him without the tears ... I have been very busy trying to finish my Christmas shopping and I'm almost done only a couple of things left on my list to buy so I'm not going near the shopping center today i so need to chill and scrap well that's the plan anyway I'm sure my 3 teenagers will have other plans for me they think the Torago is a Maxi Taxi with a built in ATM machine spitting out money for them...Little darlings mmmmm ........

I'm guessing everyone;s been extremely busy these past few days i know i have been flat out but don't seem to be achieving anything and only 5 more sleeps to go .
Will i be ready ?

Nope not a chance never are never will be i seem to be getting worse every year. oh Maybe one year i'll be super organised cant wait for that .. We packed the kids in the car last night to go Christmas lighting wow there is some fabulous displays in our town this year , some courts allow you to get out and have a closer look and wow the time and effort put into these is amazing the little ones enjoyed themselves but didn't want to go .As usual i'd take heaps of photos but i so suck at photography only a few worked out ok ...

And on the scrapping front i did manage to finish the beautiful Nats Dec challenge at http://www.natscreativechaos.com/chatroom/

Requirements are 3 handcut items use someuse pink somewhere on your LO i have scrapped Jason as 9 times out of 10 i seem to do the girls so i figured its his turn buttons and
My handcutting was the Sassafrass over the rainbow PP and a stamped dragonfly and stamped a Basic Grey stamp to cut out i used some orange buttons and the little Mushroom has pink on it so all bases covered i hope TFL

Wow what a busy few days i have been having my DDs sweet 16 party was well to put it nicely loud put teenage girls in a confined space and you'll need to wear ear plugs cant believe how much squealing they can manage to make but we all survived thank goodness there was only one causality who tripped over and badly bruised her foot but no broken bones though .......... And then there's the Christmas shopping trying to get a car park was impossible well within a 3km radius not that a mind walking its just the juggling of the presents and the pram and holding little ones hands its a nightmare think ill wait till they are open till midnight and leave the bubs with dad only 13 more sleeps i think... I have managed to do some scrapping not much only two this week so hope you all enjoy your weekend ...
